idApostle was hired to refresh the branding while retaining existing equity. The goal was to refine the current company and product logos and introduce new visual assets and a wider colour palette to promote consistency and ease of use.
The symbol and colour of the old logo needed to be carried over. The new logo uses stacked typography allowing the logo to be used larger while the name appears shorter (an ongoing concern with the old logo). The new typography has more character and is friendlier than the default Arial font of the old design.
A bubble referencing communication, and friendly support was pulled from the existing symbol and is used as a flexible design element throughout the new branding.
