idApostle was tasked with the brand creation for a new business based in Quebec, Canada that promotes locally made Canadian lifestyle products. I will add a complete post about the brand development to the portfolio in the coming weeks.
After naming the company Habitude Design, one of the first deliverables was this laser cut, duplexed business card. It wasn’t easy finding a printer confident in cutting several 1/16″ holes requiring precise registration—the alignment with the ‘a’ was critical. The process was made difficult as the card is two sheets of heavy cover stock glued together to provide depth and emphasize the holes. Generation Printing in Vancouver Canada took on the project and delivered a product everyone is proud of.
The logo and business card design are a play on location points on a map, highlighting the local nature of the company. The Habitude Design website (under development) will enable people to discover high-quality handmade products including jewelry, furniture, and crafts.
