Food Bank—Hunger Stops Here: Branding and logo design for awareness program

The goals for the branding project were to design a simple image that would inspire action. It was also important that the graphic design considered cost as printing budgets were tiny. The solution uses the similar graphic forms of a fork and hand. Positioned in a circle, they combine into a warning sign.

The original rough for the identity used a knife and fork crossing each other to form a plus/cross. This concept was developed and through many revisions was simplified and altered until the shape of the fork and hand were seen, making up the final logo.
