The Ottawa Health Group provides clients with an integrated approach to wellness through a range of services including chiropractic, massage therapy, and acupuncture. With nearly every other competing Ottawa health care provider incorporating an image of a spine and cliché stock photography for their branding, we knew we wanted the branding to stand out rather than blend in.
The arrows in the logo reflect Ottawa Health Group’s integrated approach to increasing their clients’ wellbeing. They represent integrated services, shared responsibility between practitioner and patient, and the increased benefits of ongoing treatment.
The tagline ‘Engaged with your health’ expresses a key benefit provided by Ottawa Health Group—a heartfelt caring between practitioner, patient, and the Ottawa community. Ottawa Health Group is engaged with individual patients as well as with the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO), and their own Angels of Hope, an organization dedicated to raising funds to find and make available a non-toxic cure for brain cancer.
Cliché stock photography was avoided and instead the graphic design focused on simple, bold color, clean typography, and use of the brand patten.
Keywords representing benefits provided by the Ottawa Health Group were selected for various applications. This has proven to be a very flexible approach, allowing us to target specific groups, and can be continually altered for future graphic design and branding needs.
