Canadian organization Spark Lifecare helps individuals experience a richer life by connecting them to world class services in the Ottawa area. Offerings include care for seniors, children, and people with disabilities, as well as mentoring and lifestyle programs.
idApostle was approached to rebrand the organization known at the time as Our Spark Network. The name was changed to Spark Lifecare to reflect better the organization’s purpose, and to change the ‘inward looking’ perspective of ‘Our,’ to a brand name more inclusive of the individuals engaging in the services.
The branding was developed to work across a broad spectrum of applications, subject matter, and audience demographics. The goal was to create a dynamic identity that captured the energy created when an individual partners with Spark Lifecare. We wanted to encourage the motivational feelings of potential, joy, and growth.
The minimal graphic form of the Spark Lifecare logo allows many permutations while maintaining the brand. The approach works in contrast to organizations offering similar services, enabling Spark to speak in a unique voice that embraces their spirit.
After years of trying to develop a strong visual identity on their own, Spark Lifecare finally has a logo and visual brand that mirrors their motivations and goals. They have a visual toolkit that differentiates, speaks to their audience, and will help Spark Lifecare encourage life changing relationships.
