Highbridge Construction is an Ottawa-based general contractor that prides itself on the integrity of both its work and customer service. Highbridge wanted a clean and bold approach to their branding that could be implemented consistently and with ease. The decision was made to develop a wordmark rather than a logo to reduce the number of elements— versus having a symbol and name—enhancing efforts to focus on building name recognition.
The Highbridge Construction wordmark has details that communicate both a building and a bridge in a way that avoids the heavy-handed use of cliches often used in this business space. By reflecting qualities related to building and planning in a clean, structured and timeless way, the wordmark also avoids short-lived design trends that often age design.
