Canou is a Québec-based company producing high quality, modern, and hand made crafts. idApostle created the brand name capturing the companies commitment to using Canadian sources, and playing on the French word for where (did you get that?)—Ou.
The design reflects natural patterns and textures, Canadian pride, and the C letterform. A minimalistic and playful approach echoes the modern aesthetic of Canou. The stacked letters form a grid mimicking the patterns found in many of the products used by Canou—the threads that make up fabric, or weaving.
